Delisha Upshaw

Delisha Upshaw is a creative, results-driven communications executive with more than 18 years of experience in diverse industries including cultural, automotive, agency, sports philanthropy, education, and sales management. She previously worked as the Senior Director of Communications and Marketing at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and is currently a Development Manager at Detroit Historical Society. Delisha Upshaw lives in Livonia and is raising two daughters in the city. Delisha is highly active in the community and excels at networking and befriending others from all walks of life.

Carrie Budzinski worked for Senator Carl Levin in Constituent Services before moving on to fundraising and marketing at two of Detroit’s largest non-profits. She now runs daily operations at and produces content for LittleGuide Detroit, the most popular resource for the best classes, events and activities for kids and families in Metro Detroit. She also recently completed her first run for public office on Livonia City Council. Carrie lives in Livonia and together with her husband is raising two young sons in the city. Carrie and her family are highly visible in the community and participate in volunteer and recreational activities throughout the Metro-Detroit area.
