About The Event

Since 2020, we've hosted this bi-annual event providing metro Detroit drivers with tail/brake light repair services and vehicle safety checks free of charge to prevent unnecessary/dangerous police stops, expensive tickets and fines, and possible court appearances, to benefit the greater community.

By reducing these kinds of police stops that disproportionately affect vulnerable populations, we are working toward our goal of “public safety for all” in Livonia. *Our events also include mutual aid and civic engagement/voter education resources!

Need service? You can show up or register in advance to make sure we will have the right equipment for your vehicle:

Want to volunteer? Attend our Monthly Zoom Planning meetings on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month from 7pm-8pm.  Volunteering is also a great way to learn how to offer a similar service to your community.
