About The Event
Celebrate Black History Month with our 21-Day Anti-Racism Challenge! This challenge was adapted from diversity scholar Dr. Eddie Moore's 21-day plan which promotes deeper understandings of race, power, privilege, supremacy and oppression. Here's how it works:
- You will receive a Welcome email with instructions for completing the challenge; a link to a Tracking Tool and Reflection Guide to assist you with keeping up with the challenge and any questions or emotions or desire you may have to dig deeper. Be sure to take a minute to complete the Day 1 Reflection.
- Each weekday you will receive an email on a specific topic with three options for learning more: Read, Watch, Listen. We encourage you to pick and choose the best option for you based on your schedule, personal preferences, etc.
- Your Welcome email will include a link to our optional 21 Day Anti-Racism Challenge Private Facebook Group where we will also post the daily content, along with discussion questions for deeper engagement, as well as, ideas for including your children in the challenge.
- Each week we will invite you to Super Saturday Zoom where we come together for a deep dive conversation on something we learned the previous week.
We look forward to seeing you on the journey!
